That recognition of John from Bobby at the ceremonies was incredibly touching, especially knowing that Bobby had no idea he was getting the award and all comments were adlib. You knew it was a true statement and a great tribute to the legacy of Mid-America music...one generation to the next (or at least a half generation)
John was astounded. This is another instance of one never knowing the influence you have on another and the legacy one leaves behind until years later.
