Backstage at the 2008 "Mid-America Music Hall of Fame" induction show, Diane Ingram introduced herself as a loyal Chancellor fan of many years. Di filled me in on a project near and dear to her heart, a charitable trust newly established by an Elliot Park businesswoman, Shar Kanan, called "The Sounds of Mid-America, Inc.".Di invited me to the SOMA fundraiser scheduled for July at her coffeehouse, e.p. atelier, for the program launch, chat with old friends and listen to good local music.
